IND Cosmetic Parts

So I just got my car back from the 1200 mile break-in service, CAN recall, IND cosmetic package, and valentine one hardwire. I had timed out all of these parts to get installed together while at the dealer for the break in service.

I had also ordered the key hole delete, but was advised to hold off a little before installing it. My SA explained to me that BMW is using "new lithium ion batteries for the new BMW's and the life is unpredictable still?" I thought the key hole delete would've been a quick easy piece to pop out, but instead, it replaces the entire lock mechanism on the door. So in the event the key/battery stop working, I'm out of luck and would have to wait for a locksmith.

The hardwired Valentine One is an aboslute MUST. I love how clean it looks up at the top by the rear view mirror. It was wired to turn on and off as I lock/unlock the car.

ALL of the parts have perfect fitment. Quality is spot on.

What can I say, this car is a TOTALLY different animal after it hits 6K RPM. My goodness she pulls hard. Can't wait to really get a chance to open her up.

For now, enjoy some quick pics of the cosmetic/Valentine upgrades! Next round of mods will be Carbon diffuser, rear spoiler, and front splitter. I plan on getting the Black series Eisenmann Race exhaust in the future and the KW HAS set up, just awaiting to read more customer reviews! Thanks for looking

Regards,
Brochop

Thanks guys! The smallest parts make the biggest difference sometimes. Now its time to start planning for some performance mods

Weird how rear OEM reflectors fitment looks like that. My only complaint is we could buy the regular 4 series grill from the dealer for cheaper than the IND grill surround.

The rear reflectors are 100% OEM BMW cores. If you install the painted ones on the left and keep the red ones on the right you will see that the gaps are the same. We don't modify the reflectors in any way.

I should edit my original post, because I realized that the stock ones also look the same!! I love how everything came out. Being in the restaurant business, I'm all about quality, and you guys deliver just that. I look forward to ordering more parts from you in the near future

Is hardwiring the radar detector something most dealers can do?

Depending on your relationship with your dealer, more importantly, your service advisor and tech. It's an easy job but I know a lot of people are hesitant because you have to tap into the fuse box.

Looks good.. you have almost the same car as me...

Question.. did you wire the V1 into the Mirror or down the pillar to the lighter under the passenger side dashboard? If you tapped the mirror what wires did you tap into?

Thank you! You must have good taste!

The V1 wire is run down the pillar down the passenger side and tapped into the fuse box there. I stumbled across a DIY on hardwiring into the mirror a few weeks back, but I didn't want to take the chance.

Lol.

Oh ok cool. That's how mine is except it goes to the 12v outlet. I may try the fuse box...sounds easier.
