JB4 M3 Half Mile Testing

BMS took their M3 out for some half mile testing and logging and reports it ran flawlessly. They mostly used map 7 with a mix of race gas. Best traps of the day were 154.5 mph and although it lost it held up OK against a new McLaren.

That is great news, can't wait to see this car next month at this same air strip for No Fly Zone. This makes the wait for my M3 more torturous.

Those results are staggering. I own a 12C and it's lightning fast compared to a stock M4. Hard to believe this honestly. I guess it's time to order the JB4

They ran it on half 100 half 91 octane which helps quite a bit vs 91 octane alone. But there is no dispute the new M3 hauls tuned.

Nice. The more I hear about what's coming, the more excited I am. I couldn't make it to Airstrip Attack because I have family coming in and I'm running the tough mudder. NFZ should be legit.

Yeah it is legit, specially with all the runs every one gets to put in all day.

Amazing almost matched him!! Supercar territory!

with a few more mods and more octane I think it's possible...

12c
3161 lbs
514whp
6.15 lbs/whp

Tuned m3
3516 lbs
6.15 lbs/whp
Needs 572whp

EAS m3 with dps, exhaust, filters, 100 oct did 560whp, add meth or intercooler upgrade with an extra pound of boost for extra 12whp!

Or turbo upgrade!

Great runs.

I trust Terry as he has been in the piggyback game for years. Other tuners are just now stepping in only because they can't crack the ecu.

BMS has been at this since early late 2007. But the nice thing is, with the JB4, and unlike all the other tuners out there coming out, no trust is really required. The tune itself will datalog boost, timing, air/fuel ratios, fuel trims, fuel pressures of both pumps, throttle, wastegate duty cycle, etc, etc, and the tuning can be easily verified by the end user. Not to mention having all that data on tap means the JB4 itself can provide vastly superior tuning when compared to something that can only take in data via the physical sensors its connected to. The JB4 even includes the ability to read "hidden" codes that would not show a light in dash or come out via an OBDII code read.

And on top of being a vastly superior product it happens to be the least expensive AND most widely supported via BMS and their dealer network.
