Peeling F80 shipping plastic

Not sure if anyone would enjoy these, but what the heck. I requested the dealer leave the plastic on so I could peel it and give it it's first wash.

I am really hoping you didn't wash your car there and use those dirty foam brushes. Those scratched the clear coat.

Congrats on your M3. Few more month for me on a European Delivery.

Haha no way! I just used the bright lights there to peel it off, since I picked it up at night, and then power washed the dirty areas. I'll properly wash it once I get the tints done.

I'm hoping to do ED next time. That sounds ridiculously fun.

Whew! I see it all the time here in Hawaii. Very expensive cars $100,000 and they use those brushes at the car washes. Enjoy your new baby!

All you need now is a nice clay bar to remove all the adhesive and dirt, then a nice polish and a seal to go with your bra and you'll be all set!

LMAO - I was thinking the same thing ... Going to all that trouble to keep the dealership from screwing up the paint only to wash it yourself at coin operated car wash.

It's mostly my fault, I added LED headlights about a week before it's scheduled production which set me back about 6 weeks. The wait sucked but it's all worth it now
