JB4 Map 8 safe?

Hey guys, ive got an 09 135i with a jb4 g4 DCI and a cobb chargepipe. I was always under the impression that running no turbos on a boosted car was detrimental to the engine. I have been experienceing some fuel cuts at higher RPMs (il post a log later) but in the mean time i wanted to run less power to be safe. Based on the mods i have, is it okay to run map 8?
