Engine idle high pitched whining noise when A/C is off
I was just wanting to know if this noise is normal while idling? It doesn't happen while under load and sounds like it's almost coming from the diverter valve.
No ill effects yet with the kit thus far though. You can hear the normal SC noise when I go down near the intake, but the other high pitched noise seems odd to me.

I have a Gintani kit and mine makes the same type of little whine. I was told that it could just be the belt and not to worry.... car runs just fine for now

Update, it appears that it only makes that noise when the A/C is turned off, once I turn the A/C on it doesn't make the noise... It sounds like it's coming from this cylindrical object in the photo (drivers side next to the wheel well), but I have no idea what part that is.
