Another Exhaust Comparison
Since we all love comparisons, and no one can ever decide on which exhaust they want or which sounds best, I've got a comparison of 4 rear sections, all taken with the same camera, so anyone can get a relative idea of how they sound next to one another. Setups as follows (all stock cats/x-pipes, only rears changed out):
Bone Stock OEM Mod (non-ACM method) Active Autowerke Signature Gintani Race Videos taken with a GoPro 3 with internal (stock) microphone, so the AA and Gintani get a little crackly, but you can definitely hear the different tones of all 4 exhausts. Had the nice luck of capturing some Harleys and their riders/conversation too! Last edited by FRFNUGN; 08-09-2014 at 10:35 PM.. Reason: Why can't I embed the dang thing?? |

Here is a recent video of my Meisterschaft GT2 idling after getting a supercharger.

Cool compilation. We need more threads like this. Less "this is what my [insert exhaust] sounds like with [insert difficult to replicate mod] as captured by my [insert popular phone]".
I love my non-ACM OEM Mod. But test pipes are calling. |

Yeah at 2-2.75k or so, but beyond that it is entirely intoxicating. It sounds nothing like any other exhaust offering for the E92. I honestly wouldn't change it for any other cat back, but you have to like beast mode
