M-DTC tunning

Hi there
i would like to get tuning/flash M-dtc
which one do u recommend? what the different between ess, dinan, evolve and GTS DTC coding by alex? is it all the same. the price is so much different.

is tunning DTC will increase wear ?

I doubt anyone will fess up as to the source of the code. But if it's OEM BMW GTS code - then who cares. +1 for Alex. I had dealer wipe out my electronics due to some service work and he quickly reflashed it. On the other hand, Benvo is the man - I have his engine code and love it. Mike got me the stuff I needed to reflash on my own for the engine so +1 to him as well. Ultimately, it's who you're comfortable with. Can't go wrong with either as both have been fantastic to deal with.

Alex @ Alpine did mine and I'm absolutely happy I didn't go with anyone else. Alex's patience, customer service and knowledge of the whole process is unmatched, imo. He's definitely the "go to" guy!

For DCT code is code, what is most convenient for you? Engine tuning has a larger proprietor component.

Dinan's tune is great !!
Shifts better then the GTS tune by personal experience.
And is cheap. List for $300

i read in the other post "The computer decides when to shift (and at what rpm), so any potential abuse or damage is limited by the pre-programed software operating system. This software controls every aspect of the dual clutch transmission. (even in the MANUAL mode)

If you make an ill-advised gear selection choice (that will cause damage to the transmission or the engine), the computer will simply disregard your request and/or take over to fix the error. "

Don't worry, this same limit should be imposed in all DCT software. The engine control will not allow DCT to execute a shift that would exceed the rev limiter, so this is not a problem. The same safety is still there.

Anyone can share how it's being installed? I purchase Evolve flash with DCT 6 months back, the flash was great but I only received the DCT cable 3 weeks ago and till date unable to get a reply on a date foe remote installation via virtual PC.
Sometimes, I am unsure if their business is still in operation.
