AA gen 2 stg 2 would be the best vs evolve top kit because they run very close psi (evolve 7-7.5 and AA 8psi and no water/meth. AA gen 2 stg 3 is 9psi and water/meth for stable ITA.
I personally have only driven AA S/C M3 in every gen and stage. saying that the rotrex is a amazing match for the s65 and experiencing the difference for the HKS gen 1 kits to the rotrex kit is huge. The Evolve kit looks amazing and from what I have read/heard about it its top notch. To me it seems the kits would be very close in power, drivability and craftsmanship. AA and evolves tuning styles seem very close. Can't wait to drive a Evolve S/C m3 and compare them. |

Powerwise I would say they are very very similar. I personally wouldn't want the hassle of meth. The evolve kit has amazing cooling abilities, my IAT's stay very cool and consistent. I'm happy ..

very cool. I'm interested in seeing your HP/TQ curves throughout the RPM band on 93.

From my understanding the meth isn't required (meaning you can commute back and fourth etc without it), but for peak output / track duty it is a must on the Gen 2 Stage 3 setups (which i am looking at) -- Plus being in the panhandle of Florida, the humidity is insane - I need all the help i can get cooling the car down. The air just reaks of hot damp air.
My M currently feels like it is towing a boat compared to how she was a few month back. |

The water/meth has to be always left on with the gen 2 stg 3 kit. Commuting back and fourth doesn't use that much water/meth as you are not in the boost cursing or part throttle.

I'll take a dynojet dyno any day for dynojet numbers over another dyno with "dynojet mode." A while back, maybe a year or so, AA posted a dyno of its Rotrex C38-92 on a dynojet. Search for it. As I recall, it was making about 600 on a dynojet in SAE.

VCP user name is the owners of the car I'm talking about and you can see a verified "un-dynojet corrected" of the same dyno run. still not a dynojet but something

No-if its not a dynojet, its not dynojet numbers, very simple. Graph says flywheel because its showing flywheel HP. just as every other kits rated CHP matches the kit. 600/625/650. that will not be rwhp, Not on a DJ, definitely not a Mustang or DD
peak power by all the cars are going to be very close, low-mid and transient response is where they differ. AA and Evolve as similar as they can be if you go by actual dynojet numbers or mustang numbers. |

Our level 2 would be the closest comparison to their highest level. We recently switched to some better injectors and picked up another 10 whp and another 15 whp on our level 1 kits The level 3 power numbers remain the same.
