3D Printed Garmin GPS Mount
Spent time yesterday designing a GPS mount for a Garmin unit I bought at Costco. Was inspired by a Kuda mount that used a metal tab to mount into the air vent. I cut the suction cup mount that comes with the unit in half to get the ball portion. Cut the metal from an old cookie tin I had lying around. Originally purchased a Mountek CD slot mount, but that covered up the whole radio.

I like it. But I like my metal mount on top of the dash more, it is not blocking any vent. If you search for my previous posts you can find a couple articles, one with the nuvi on the left and one on the right.
