Exhaust Option

I am about to buy an after market axle back exhaust. And the most I want to get is like Mustang GT Roush exhaust sound. Does anyone know which brand is most closest to Roush?

Most similar in sound you can get is this.....otherwise you need to buy a Mustang !
Megan exhaust and MS test pipes, put your head phone on and hope this will help...
So what do you think man ?

A Meistershaft GT2 will probably be the most similar as it is a very deep, growly and throaty exhaust. I've got it on mine and muscle car people always ask what I have on my car since it doesn't sound like a normal German high revving V8.

Watch this video around 50 seconds and you'll see what I mean, and it's just a cat back. Don't even think about running cat-less or you'll most certainly be deaf. I ran an AA x-pipe with a set of resonators and it was the loudest and most obnoxious car I've ever heard haha.

Unfortunately Meistershaft GT2 is the closest one but it is not the same what I want. Megan exhaust and MS test pipes also sound good but still it does not give a roush sound either. I mean this is only a axle back and gives really quality sound on Mustang impo.

It's a 5 liter muscle car. It's gonna be hard to replicate that sound on a 4 liter car meant for a different application.

Your best bet is to go to a car meet and listen to different setups in person. I don't know what the aftermarket camshaft abundance is for the e9X m3, but you may want to look into those to get the lope that the boss 302 has.

I heard a muffler delete M3 in person. It sounds pretty muscle car like. deep growl. It sounds different on youtube though.

I'm sorry, but you bought a car with a high revving V8.

American cars are lower revving and use a H-pipe as part of their exhaust system.

M3's use a xpipe in the exhaust system. You can google the differences.

You could get a custom Hpipe made for the M3 to change the sound, but you would be choking the engine.

Thank you yeah I know that. Just the sound is really powerful with roush muffler to me. I am hearing on the road with low revving. I mean of course 4.0 vs 5.0 will be different but still we have an amazing v8 engine

Have you listened to the Borla exhaust? I know it's just an internet video and I could have terrible hearing, but it sounded pretty close to me.

Muffler delete pipes or Gintani will give you the sound you want.

If hpipe will chocking the engine, why akrapovic do hpipe on their exhaust system (since it contain both xpipe and hpipe)?

your best bet is to meet up with local M3 owners with aftermarket pipes and listen to them in person. You can only appreciate so much on youtube videos...
