Thanks Trevor, unfortunately the Ann Arbor dealer told me the original build date was August, no additional information from them at this point. I'll try giving BMW Genius a call at some point.

thats odd, your dealer should be able to screenshot on his internal system all of the relevant info such as projected build week/actual build week, order accepted etc.

The green is beautiful, but I really wish there were more colors available(not that I could afford one anyway) but Jet black or Ferrari red would be hot against the gold accents

The wheels are more of a champagne/beige color. Not as gold as I expected.

I believe they will match this. The gold calipers with these wheels look better in person. I ordered my m5cs in this setup.

i think if we ever get the CS i will put some bigger exhaust tips powdercoated in black, and then the diffuser has to go. I like the regular Comp diffuser.

Really nice. But for $142K ouch!. I recommend a R8 V10 Gen 1.

You're a little late to the party. But as for your recommendation, how old is the first gen R8? Doubt anyone would cross shop that with the M5 CS.

Why would anyone want a 10 year old R8 over the M5 CS? Sure, they may have been $150k+ back then, but you can grab one now for $80-95k.

I’ve come across a few dealers but they’re looking for 25k over and up. Hoping someone backs out on an order.

I have that exact same car on order, should be at Ann Arbor BMW at the end of this month. While I never had intentions of selling it…I never thought these things would command $50k over sticker…absolutely crazy. I plan to park it until the spring/summer…will be interesting to see what the prices do later in the year.
