Thanks Fellas. She's doing great. 5 days after spinal surgery and she's off all meds and wanting to run. Keeping her quiet is the hardest thing! Cant for the life of me figure out why they go in through her chest to access her spine. Crazy.

Thanks!! We think so. He is only nine months old, so he will probably grow a little more and add some pounds. They are not considered full grown until 2 years old. Appreciate your kind comment.

This is Buddy Boi. We met at the Humane Society (shelter in Palm Springs) 9 months ago and it was love at first sight! Put about 15 pounds of muscle on him (85lbs now) and we think he is about 3 years old. Also the reason I got the 550i as he could no longer ride in the front seat of the RAM comfortably.

I will never "purchase" a dog; too many out there that need homes and the bond that is created cannot be replicated!
Thanks, I think so too! Still can't believe someone got rid of him. He was found wandering in Palm Springs and nobody claimed him. It has been a lot of work, but damn he is a great dog. He lets kids climb all over him but wants to attack any adult male that comes near me, so we still have work to do |

RIP My Friend
Had to put down our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. We're devastated. The kindest, most gentle soul you'd ever want to meet. I will miss you forever.

This is the hardest part of having pets. One just has to focus on all the good memories.

Very hard because you love them and they're your baby.
I remember my cat I had a while back. 14 years old and had to be euthanized because of lymphoma. I took him to the vet and when they were ready to take him I kissed him and handed him to the tech and left crying. Next time my kitty will be euthanized at home, where she'll be comfortable, and not scared. And I'll know everything that will happen because I'll see it with my own eyes. Hard to watch but better for her and that's what matters. |

Because he is a good dog, he will be waiting for you on the other side of the "Rainbow Bridge", for when your time comes.

Sorry for your loss, it is so difficult. We had to put down two dogs within 1 1/2 years of each other. It is so strange not to have them around. A little over a year ago we got our first replacement and just started to talk about another. Exciting and daunting at the same time.

When we lost our cat we got another one from the shelter the next day. Helps with the pain IMO because you have another pet right away to get involved with and make comfortable, etc. and you don't have to think about the one you just lost. Helps get your mind off of it for now. You can remember later when it doesn't hurt as much. No reason to dwell on it while it's painful.
