Cabin Air Filter
Hello,
What brand of air filters do you guys use for your cars? I've had my car for about a year and I think its time to change the cabin air filters out. I see a few listed on ECSTunning. Also the process doesn't look to hard so should just be able to do it at home. https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-F10-M5.../Cabin_Filter/ Thanks, |

I swapped out my cabin air filters with Mann Frecious Plus. It was hard to tell if my filters were the original or not; they otherwise looked new. I got the vehicle with just under 9k miles on it. The filter closest to the passenger seat was facing towards the firewall, and the filter closest to the firewall was facing towards the passenger seat.
Most probable is that the dealer changed them and put them in wrong as opposed to the BMW factory, I would presume. I did not expect a little photo DIY to come with the filters, specifically for the F10 BMW, but wanted to share for once and for all, so people would know what direction the airflow arrows are supposed to go.

Yeah it was a pain. I did disconnect the battery just to be safe. It was a pain to get the last screw both out and in.
