I'm wondering how this M5 CS may challenge the Taycan Turbo S.

Love the front images on first page. Hope these angular lines make into regular 5er.

As a reminder, a prototype wearing the same gurney flap and an M5 CS badge had already been spotted

This car looks great! But to save wait they are going to have to lose the massage seats and some of the other luxuries in the F90 comp right?

A manual transmission will get you halfway there. 195lb -> 80lb

They already used the “CSL” moniker for a one off e60 M5 with a 5.5 liter V10, that made 580 hp, a diet that dropped 110 pounds, making it weigh 1830 kg, or a little over 4,000 pounds (4,035) and a ‘Ring time of 7:52. I know, I know, a car weighing 4,000 pounds with CSL in its name. But if CSL can be applied to that, and they got away with it, then it stands to reason that they can use CS and market the hell out of it.

The e60 M5 CSL was an one off built for celebration of M5's 25 anniversary.
They could have made at least 25 for a super limited edition 🤔 With the new M5 CS they want to stand near the AMG 4 door GT 73 AMG or how they decide to call it... |
