Would you say that all dealers who are going to get model year M235i July allocations already have them or is BMW probably still dishing them out? I have a dealer who told me a couple of months ago they would hold their first allocation for me but is telling me they have not gotten their allocation yet. Does BMW give their monthly allocations out all at once and therefore by now this is dealer is not getting one or do some dealers get their allocations at earlier times during the month than others?

I believe their allocations are plus one month, so in May they know June's, in June they know July's, and so on.

Thanks bimmerbuff. My question is more along the lines of...I'm hearing some dealers have their July allocation of 235's now. Does that mean all dealers have their July allocations in hand now? Or, does BMW hand out July allocations gradually during the month of June. Now that I hear some dealers have July allocations, I'm trying to determine if that implies that if my dealer does not have one yet they aren't going to get it.

Every dealer gets at the very least one M235 per month, volume dealers get more

By last week, everyone should have them. There is no trickling in. They get them within the first week of the month prior to build or not at all.

That is what I needed to know. mmm235, I left a deposit a couple of months ago to secure their first allocation of a 2015 M235i but now CA is telling me they do not have an allocation and are looking to get one. Based on what Ramos and hyperzulu said, I am thinking they had the allocation but not give it to me.

Sounds like it. Ask for your deposit returned and send out emails to other dealers.

Yup, they will know exactly what they have. Cmon now, its a multi-million dollar business.

Get your money back and use that offer as your baseline to get a better deal with an allocation

Just spoke with my CA. He swears they did not get an allocation of an m235 and that it wasn't given to someone else. And that I am first on the list and that they are trying to acquire from another dealer. He is in Georgia and was recommended to me by other members so I give him a high level of trust. That said, I won't wait long (tic toc) as I don't want to fall behind in the production queue for the first 2015's.

My CA show me exactly which allocation I was getting for the next month on their system, but maybe July is different??? AFAIK every dealer should at least get 2-3 allocation for a m235i

Yes the allocation for next month isnt open yet but they should know if any are available
