Who says this 4,000+ lb GT can't put down power AND handle like a sports car?

Expecting something different??-lol

I took this home for the weekend and it was INSANE!

AWD-Never felt like an AWD and it grips and goes!

Luxury-Ridiculously comfortable and just gorgeous inside! LOADED with Carbon fiber. Deviated stitching, panorama roof, big yellow tach, aluminum pedals, Daytona Seats with Alcantara inserts, etc. Wow!

Performance-V12 Ferrrari. Need I say more? 80 mph? Huh? Tap the gas and hold on!

Styling-Look at the lines on this thing.

SOUND!-Makes the 458 sound like a kitten!

Arguably the most amazing car I have ever driven. PERFECT vehicle. Oh yeah, loaded my wife and the two kids in the car and threw stuff in the back-no problem. If I didn't have the Spider on order I would definitely consider this thing. In fact, I did sort of consider it but I am sticking with the 458 (for the moment) .

My little buddy Gavin sure loved it!

To be honest, it never did it for me. Drove it for a few days and it really grew on me. It is amazing. You need to drive one. Would me a perfect DD. I call it "confident comfort". It's not mushy or soft in any way. So very responsive and very nimble (and not just for a car of it's size). You don't feel the weight at all in this car.

I've tried to look at that car and like it, and I can't. I'm not doubting it's capabilities and prowess but, it's just not nice looking.

Get the spider...or if you want something with a little more room....waiiiiitttt for it...

At the rate u are swapping cars, I'm sure u have a gold mine at your back yard. With a Spider on order, I think u are gonna run out of cars to upgrade to very soon. Are u sure u can part with the mountain of torque in your Turbo S for a high revving NA?

Lol! I love the front end of the FF and the V12 sound is like OMG! But yeah I agree with Vic, just couldn't do it.

The F12 Berlinetta on the other hand...

I thought you had a Huracan on order anyways?

F12 berlinetta for the win.. My only complain on it was that the steering was just a little bit too soft. Other than that.. OH MY GOD..

Another good option instead of the spider, is the Speciale. Defintely worth the extra $$ over the spider..

Just my $0.02

Let me just say that it spoiled me. I drove a 458 Spider on a nice long ride last night and I just couldn't get "comfortable". I don't know what it is. Honestly, I liked driving the FF better. call me crazy and perhaps I'm getting old but that car is truly amazing. Once you drive it you will see.

Yeah Dave, at this point I have every freaking car that I have a tiny bit of interest in on order-lol! ugh...it's driving me nuts. Going to drive a 458 couple today. At this point I am thinking Huracan might be best for my needs. The F12 would be the PERFECT car. Not wanting to drop $450K on it though. Speculation is that they will drop more significantly than the spider because of the wider market for the spider.

lol! Agreed. I will get tired soon. In fact, I am growing sick of thinking about upgrading cars at all. Vic loves the GIAC tune apparently and a buddy of mine from Champion said they just did a 991 cab yesterday and it was CRAZY. If I don't like the 458 coupe I will tune mine, buy some sick HREs, drop it, put on an exhaust and call it a day.

I'm not a fan of Lambos, they're just not the right cars IMO.
Let us know what you end up choosing.

I saw 2 FFs riding around in Bethesda 2 weekends ago ...and then 2 more riding around Greenwich this past weekend... I don't know, they seem to be too common...(tongue firmly in cheek). The car has a lot more presence in person... I just couldn't spend $300+K on it unless I had already purchased a dozen other cars ahead of it (in case you question the list, it would include McLaren 650S, Ferrari 458, 991 TT-S, SL63 PP, SLS BS, 997 GT2 RS, LP640, 599 GTB, SLR 722, LP570 SL, AM Vanquish, SL65 BS and Bentley CGT SS) .

Oh I hear you for sure. I want more "pop" in the looks department for that kind f money. But I am telling you, driving the car is just amazing. It is truly the best all-around car that I have ever driven. I would buy it if I had a GT3 in the garage too. And I WON'T do that!

And that is QUITE the list.

Not sure if u have tried it, but I realized that I can save a whole bunch of money by getting some of my need for speed satisfied via go karting. I own 2 personal karts and it's amazing fun! The amount of G it pulls and the sensation of speed is unmatched by any road cars out there. It also cost a tiny fraction of what it costs to track your cars. If u haven't already done it, u should give it a try. I am not talking about rental fun karts, but dedicated personal karts! Those things fly!
