Uploading new songs to Hard drive

Hi,
I have been transferring music from my usb to the hard drive under glove box and songs have always uploaded, all of a sudden I tried to add new songs and it wont show up, so I deleted a existing song and the new songs all transferred the hard drive in the car says I have 93% memory available, can anyone help me out or solution I already deleted the folders and did the restore no luck with that. Any help is appreciated.

does it detect the external device? if not then try another flash drive
