And you thought your morning was tough..

Today I got stopped by a CHP (biggest assholes in my area) for not having a front license plate. Turn out I also had illegal tint, my car was lowered which is illegal I guess and since my tres are cambered and stick out I also need mudflats which I don't have so that illegal. And to top it off since my car looked modified I had to pop my hood and show him the engine. Turns out my intake is illegal also with no carb sticker. Oh it gets better I had a failure to appear in January of 2012 I had no idea about, so add driving on a suspended to the list and tow my car to the impound lot.

I don't understand how anyone can believe they are free living in the People's Republik of Kalifornia.

Ha that's exactly what mine said. I don't get the difference between a lowered car or a lifted truck. Both should be legal and free do whatever. California's laws suck. I didn't have a warrant since it was a n infraction that suspended it not a misdemeanor thank god. All over a stupid no seatbelt law pulling out of our mall 2 years ago.

I can understand since it's CA. Seriously, if there's a poster on the wall that says $10,000 fine to remove emissions equipment, and you do it anyway, what should the outcome be if caught? At least it's 3 strikes before you're out. On the 4th I really believe in the saying cry me a river....(not on the 1st)

Seriously. They're just out for their money. He wrote 30day impound on my ticket so it has to stay in there for 30 days at $65 a day is $2400 to get my car (or so he thinks) I put my car in my moms name so I told the chief CHP guy here my mom needed her car back and he okayed it to be released to we once I get my license back. Which I just paid $1000 this morning to get it back. Fucker.

I know, Cali. is tough, and strict. I mean c'mon, $490 for a red light cam. that's when the message is very clear, there's no joking around. My cousin got a ticket for not curbing his wheels in NorCal. In NY, people don't even do that when it's a 30% incline!
