Meguiars hot rim wheel cleaner

Hi all I have a bottle of this not sure id it safe on diamond cut rims ? it says safe on all clear coated rims on the back it says corrosive
any thoughts chaps

Hi

Sure, it's fine. Don't leave it on too long (don't let it dry) and don't apply it in sunlight.

You don't want to be using it weekly - best to seal/wax your alloys so brake dust and contaminants don't stick to them.

+1 to sealing them, takes all the energy and hassle out of having alloys, shampoo and wash MIT on sealed alloys = clean in seconds.

I would never apply something to my alloys, that I wouldn't first apply to my testicles....

Personally, I would go for a milder wheel cleaner, however if you are careful and wash off quickly yes should be fine.

However, best bet is to get some sealant first, clean them, wash n dry n then apply sealant.

Job done

Try some Bilt hammer wheel cleaner
