So I slid her around the turns
And not it doesn't seem to turn/corner as well. Did about 7 or 8 slides. First slides ever, not sure they were the best implemented slides. What could've loosened her up
Specs are 07 E92 335i 36k KW V3 coilovers and front is lowered 2 inches, the back only an inch. Last edited by ThatRWD; 05-27-2014 at 08:33 PM.. |

Errr I gotta start explaining my self using full sentences, have this problem at work too often and it already had the KW V3s on there prior to the slides. On a side not I drove my neighbors 328xi for a good 70 miles the other day god the stock suspension is horrible.

LSD would make it easier to control.

No I'm saying ever since the sliding I did, in regular Prius people turns the car doesn't feel as planted and it seems to tilt as lot more. I could 20MPH turns before and the car would still feel like its fair well planted and flat but now it feels like its slanted and it tosses me to the side...

Maybe you messed up your alignment, I'd have that checked first. Take it to a reputable suspension shop to have them look at it.

They're not sharp 90 degree turns, and no I don't do anything risky near people. Or on my car for that matter, figured it could've taken some slides. Traction control doesn't even kick on and normally I'm going with the flow of traffic while making these turns.

Also, lowering springs stiffen the ride so around the corners the car is more stable but this means less weight is on the outside tires which will cause it to slide more too (Oversteer instead of understeer). Stiffer springs and suspension CAN actually hurt handling on rough/bumpy roads. Is the car understeering or oversteering? Understeering means the car is turning less than the wheels - aka plowing. Oversteering means the car is turning more than the wheel is turned - aka drifting.
