2011 E91 Battery Charge

Hi There!

My Audi battery went flat and the AA rented us a trickle charger which is 12v 15amp 7 stage charger. We did our other two cars and they suggested I do my BMW as well. I am concerned with all the electronics that doing this could risk it.

Is the battery in the BMW calcium?

Is it ok to put the battery on trickle charge overnight?

Idk if the BMW battery is calcium, but I use a battery tender in my car all the time, sometimes for a week or two at a time when not using the car.

Battery going flat? How old was it? How long was it between parking and trying to start?

I believe the battery types in BMW's vary between years.
