Carplay via Pioneer Head Unit Install

Anyone have suggests for or against it?

I know the OEM head unit (not Logic 7) will have to be relocated under seat or trunk but if I can budget it to under about 1200-1500 it might be worth it.

Advice on:
1) suggested best harnesses
2) any problems to look out for

Did you get any further on this project ? CarPlay is by Apple yeah ?
