Help!! Metal scraping noise from rear... rotor shield?

So I recently noticed a metal scraping noise on slow acceleration.

If I kick or hit that rear tire I can hear the brake dust cover / rotor cover thats behind the rotor make noise.

None of my other wheels make this noise. I tried hitting that little metal cover to see if a pebble fell out but nothing did.

I'm going to take the wheel off when I get home and take a look. Any suggestions? How does that cover come off?

Yeah, check to make sure the brake shield hasn't bent up towards the rotor

I bent it back and I still hear it. Also makes noise if I plop myself into the drives seat and the car moves..

Maybe its the E-Brake?

Man, if it's not the shield, it can be a few things, and without being there to look it over, it's going to be hard to come up with a diagnosis. Is the sound coming from the wheel well, or the actual control arm/brake area?

Could be your hub assembly. You might have a shot bearing.
