So I Drove the M6 Gran Coupe!
What an amazing car.
Some of you may actually seen my blog before, so I posted review there. Experience was rather overwhelming, as it took me a while to combine random emotions filled with excitement and joy and combine them in somewhat coherent and (hopefully) descriptive sentences. (mods, if you want to post the link on bimmerpost front page, please feel free to do so) Here are some pics: Last edited by TokyoCarGuy; 05-15-2014 at 10:29 PM.. |

Gawd what a gorgeous barge. It's sixteen-and-a-half feet long, and two-and-a-quarter tons Am I the only one who thinks an ///M should not have a leather dashboard? I mean, there's literally half a cow on there. It's an ///M PIG!
I wonder if my wife would let me get one.

The motor is outstanding on paper, but the tuning is so rudimentary right now. Would frustrate the hell out of me were I an S63 owner.
Looks fantastic though.

that would be like saying that the 4 series gran coupe is a 3 series. and that wouldnt be true bc the 4series body is still an f32, but with 2 extra doors |

For some reason I really like how it looks. I've been slowly getting into the "4-door Coupe" class of cars (e.g. Audi A7, 6-series Gran Coupe, etc.). The 6-series interior is just gorgeous.

Probably one of the most beautiful cars BMW ever produced.

Beautiful car. There's a lot of competition at the $111k+ price range though.

The real reason behind it is because it still takes the shape of a coupe. The just add more doors. It's clearly larger and longer than the M5. Unless, they're making an M5 Long wheelbase like Li I don't think it would be right to call it an M6 sedan.

Wut? That rear end is hideous (to me). It looks like a dog squatting for a poop..

Oh don't get me wrong. The M6 is a pure beast but I never liked the 6-series style and the GC doesn't make it any better.

this is the BEST looking BMW in my opinion. By far a car of envy for me. Id take a M6GC over any other BMW right now.
Easily in my top 5-10 cars I'd LOVE to own. I have only seen a few in person and have never even driven one, but may have to peak around at the stealership that next time I am there.
