OBD Readiness
Hey does anyone know the protocol to be followed to get obd monitors at ready status, after an emissions code was cleared and light has been off? My engine light hasn't been on for 4 days and I've done some around town driving, back roads, and highway.. I'm gonna say it's been more than 100 miles.. What needs to be done?

I have a check engine light due to SCR and i clear it all the time. My car typically takes 3-4 days of normal city driving before i can see that all the monitors are ready. I have also noticed that if your car is due for a regen, then until that happens, your EGR readiness never gets complete. For that, i take it on highway, usually on weekends and drive for ~60km.

The OBD READINESS procedure is posted in the DPF delete thread. I might have posted it. |

Post 1 has "drive cycle" pdf info. I found it unusually difficult to actually be able to complete certain aspects of this cycle...
