2007 Turbo Failures? Puma Case 46862142?

Would anyone happen to have a 2007 D that has had to have the turbos replaced? If so would you anyone happen to know if there was an issue with the early turbos on these cars?

OR could anyone tell me what PuMA measure 46862142 was for?

I'm looking into an extra set of turbos to modify for my 2010 but they are from a 2007. I want to make sure there are no major differences/issues before I go through with this.

probably should take that to the UK section of the forum for more answers since we didnt have these in 2007. The measure seems to apply to a lot of different engines, not sure if its the same turbo or not.

Good point. And you may have answered my question since it may not be specific to our cars. Thanks.

from a quick google i thought it could be something along the lines of seals or gaskets since it seems unlikely that the exact same turbo would have been on everything from 325d through 335d, but I didnt really look into that so I cant say

Yea I found it applied to a 320d if I remember, which has a totally different turbo. Thanks
