Black wheels on Black too much?

hey guys,

ordered my f80 m3 in black sapphire with the silver wheels but small part of me wants to order the black wheels instead. At the same time i feel like it will be too much black. Silver wheels might be a little more classy.

whats your opinions

IMO you need SOME contrast on the car. Black on black cars only look good when the car is extremely clean and polished, which lasts for about 15 minutes after you're done detailing it.

Go silver.

I am doing sapphire black on black wheels also with beige interior.

if these wheels were all black (like the test mules) than i would say yes ... too much black. but these are two tone so i think they would look badass

This is my exact issue. I built out 2-3 cars with the black wheels but thought triple black would just be too dark after thinking about it. Sent in my deposit today with the silver wheel option. Just think it lightens up the darkness. Whatever you decide, you wont be wrong.

I ordered BSM/blacked extended and black 19"s for my M3. I think it will look okay but I like black cars. My current car is Jet Black (along with my previous BMWs) with black leather and sport package. I really like the sport 18"s. I live in a state with four distinct seasons and with four times a year of simple wax/polish and they look good.

It won't. in a moth you will be looking at the orange M3 from the pictures in another thread and realize what the sun shining looks like while us dull people look like background footage.

Color combo's are always subjective and everyone likes different things. I personally have had a variety of black on black on black cars and for me they look great. I plan on having multiple M4's over the course of the product run so ill try all kinds of set ups.

You write too nice and too well for to be answered in the morning. When I take over the universe, only combos approved by me will be allowed. The black on black will look good, I admit it, but it's an engineers choice, so due to a principal I protest it all the way.

Even though I fear your punishment after taking over the world... I have to go with GOLFFRR, black on black (the best with some window tints) is a great combination! If it wasn't so much to take care of, that was one of my preferred choices.

after seeing this picture i called my dealer changed my order to black wheels. kind of wish the hood scoop was bigger like on the e9x still think the car looks awesome tho

f80 m3 black on black with SO interior full leather... can't wait

ps. my dealer told me build date is June15th. when i was at the dealer putting in my order they had told me may production. Are they fucking with me or is this legit
