Speed is great, but a car is more than price point once you hit the 6 figure mark I would say. You can make a Honda faster than both of these cars, but it's all about what you enjoy driving.

Exactly--- most pcar owners are not the modding type and enjoy the "turn key" abilities. In reality most GTR owners don't mod either but we read a lot about the few who do because the car accepts mods so well.

Agreed. The majority are not modded cars. There are just some insane ones that we see. We have a shop called Top Speed here that regularly produces 1100+ hp GTRs. We see a few around but not many.

Interesting where do you drive that thing? Sounds like a money pit addicted to unusable horse power. Hell after the ride in your car I don't want to go any faster unless I had a track next to my house. Daily driver non track can't have fun, or I can go to jail(:

Many of the (very) high power GT-Rs are actually easy to drive daily as they don't drive much differently than OEM until you start tipping into the hot pedal of course!! Obviously a TT(S) is a better DD as it is more comfortable around town.

Whilst the number of very high power GT-Rs is low compared to how many have been sold, they are many running around with approximately 600hp/>550 lb ft as it so easy and cheap to get the car to these numbers; just add a Cobb AP and a dyno.
