Production number problem
So my dealer called me today to give me the production number . I then promptly went to the website to check it out. Well one problem. My car is supposed to be alpine white. But the website says sapphire black. I called them back and they said that happens sometimes. Has this happed to anyone else?

ya it's cause when they got the allocation they had to put something and they just use whatever color... then when the car is sold and they update it, it takes a while to reflect the changes

Once on the site you set up an account for "My BMW" and from there you can enter your VIN or production number. It will then give you a timeline on the building and shipping of your car. There's also an 800 number that we can call for info. Edit: I looked at bmw.com.au and I don't see the My BMW option. Looking around online it doesn't appear there's any way to track it until it's put on a ship. Talk to your dealer and see if he has any options for you.
