19s MPerformance rims

Just taken delivery of my M235i with the MPerformance 19s fitted. I noticed the rubber fitted to the rims are 245 x 30s front and rear (Run Flats). Crazy stuff, why would BMW do this?

Sounds odd. Run flats sounds odd and same size front and rear sounds wrong.

I'd check with bmw

Why would create such a powerful driver's car and make it so the set up limits the tire size at the rear to 245. My 335is has 255 with no problem on a similar size car. Very disappointing. Without mentioning the ugly as* wheels

Sorry about the run flats. This looks awesome thought!

Do you have the M Performance as well? or is it low enough or do you plan to go after market on lowering?

Looks amazing. Which the wheel/tire setup was more aggressive.

According to the BMWUSA web site, should have been configured with

7.5" x 19" 225/35R19Y front. 8" x 19" 245/30R19Y rear.

I was just going to order this setup for my new car.
