It's so hard to wait for New M3, M5s are so cheap then these two cars are for sale down the street aghhhhh! First world problems. I want something trackable that has 4 doors. RS7 is big and Ive been trying to convince myself I can fit two booster seats in the back of the GTR

Rs7 as a track car is hilarious. God knows how expensive to operate and not fun that would be, its like 4400 lbs and a luxury boat.

The GTR is a beast, and a good, albeit expensive, track car.

That said, I would recommend not settling for something unless you really want it. IMO if you buy either car you will wish you had waited for the m3/4.

I'm doing the same thing - at least with the RS7 and M5 - I don't share your GTR thing....think you should feel a little sheepish the morning after that one. I'm now convinced something about the wait has me subconsciously trying to convince myself that I want something else in order to satisfy my stupid need for immediate satisfaction. And I agree these first world problems are a pain....my friends in the third world just buy all four

M5 I can see as their slightly used price is close to a loaded M4, but the RS7 is 120k.

I dont see how people can cross shop 75-80k with 120-125k

I think he is speaking of the price disparity. One that could afford an $80K car isn't most likely one that can afford (or at least feel comfortable) buying a car that costs 50% more

But anyone who can afford a 120k car can also afford an 80k car... nothing weird about cross shopping these cars for someone who can afford the 120k car.

Yeah the wait will be worth it. Its gonna be hard. Ill probably spend the night in the back seats of the M3 the first night I will be so excited.
