M Exhaust on Ebay?

I'm not connected to these guys, just thought I'd share since some folks aren't able to order the exhaust through their dealer...

Be careful and look at the different vehicle requirements for these two:

Its not fishy, some of these ebay sellers are actual dealers...like any parts dept they might have some part# mess up so you should contact the seller to make sure you're getting the correct part

I got my e90 na PE from ebay...100% authentic and cheapest out there

Yeah, I guess fishy wasn't the best word, except that the parts combos didn't seem right.

Parts combos are right, you need the first one with the M aero kit installed, the 2nd for standard body style, I ordered using these part #s through my dealer who thought they couldn't get the parts themselves. Every BMW dealer can get the parts you just need to offer them the part #'s and have an ambitious parts department.

The official answer from my dealer was steering wheel and Brakes only, but I provided them the exhaust parts from El Cajon BMW and they matched the price and ordered it for me.

I saw that earlier. It's not fishy. It's an actual BMW dealer out of San Diego selling this.

Edited to remove fishy, since it didn't come across like I meant it.

I haven't ordered the electronic steering wheel yet, definitely on my list. The labor costs to install the exhaust I paid $170 (which is a ripoff) but considering how great they treat me and they matched the price well below MSRP. I'm not going to complain. I have a picture of my invoice at this thread here:

Quick question on the muffler (M Performance exhaust). It's just a muffler bolt up from the axle collector pipes right? Does it have an electronic butterfly valve that open and closes? I think the stock muffler does.

I believe it does, yes it just is the axel-back from what I understand on startup they sound similar unless it's cold start. However when getting on it, it should be way more aggressive in tone. We'll find out soon enough. I've had 300mi on stock sport exhaust so I'll notice the differences in each area.

Awesome! Thanks for the info, definitely post your impressions once you get it installed and some videos.

I kinda want to see what some opinions are on the exhaust before ordering one

Just needed some clarification on the invoice of the PE. It appears it is the 1M exhaust? So it is same and just fits into 2 with no issues? Thanks. I may have misunderstood or mis-read...

No, http://www.etk.cc/bmw/EN/search/sele...CE/18/18_1035/ This is the actual F22 M Performance Exhaust. Just had it installed yesterday going to take some pics this weekend. Not sure if I'll do a video as I find most of the videos online just don't do it justice as in person.
