Bad Gas Mileage?

Hey guys, I have recently been noticing that my gas depletes rapidly...like I fill up almost every week and half even though I dont drive too much. At this rate, I think I get about 12 miles to the gallon. Awhile back, I got the muffler delete but the gas seemed to stay about the same as before. However, all of a sudden, my gas mileage is horrible. Can someone suggest what the problem may be?

do you stall your car?(meaning leavin it on P if its auto?) or if your driving less freeway and more streets that have a lot of traffic then thats whats causing the drop.
