Sapphire gets a butt lift
Just got my Performance-style trunk spoiler that I (skeptically) ordered off eBay (although I got my last one in the same way and was pretty happy with it). But...I was worried about fitment for my E93 on this new piece.
I am absolutely amazed at the quality of the piece, paint job and fitment. All 100%! It doesn't have quite as high of a kick as some others I've seen but it is perfect in proportion for my car with the stock bumper. Ordered this new piece from emotors2000 on 3-9-14 (from Taiwan, thru China...correction...as pointed out by poster below) and received it FedEx today (3-19-14)...only 10 days after ordered! (Estimated time of delivery on the site was March 31-April 11th so I woulda been shocked to get it today if I wasn't tracking it.) Part, paint (perfect match) and shipping for $99. Incredible! Here's the eBay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360870102248...84.m1497.l2649

Thanks! I'm pretty blown away, actually. The paint match was perfect and finish was flawless. Fitment was spot on. Made of ABS (stamped on the piece). Came with 3M tape, alcohol swab, Qtip and tube of prep solution for the spoiler surface, instructions and all professionally packaged and shipped FedEx.
Thanks! It's been a fun project. She still looks pretty darn good for being 6.5 years old (born on date 10-07). The interior mods have held up well. I was a little concerned about the custom vinyl on the tops of the doors but it still looks like new and still matches the OEM vinyl on the tops of the rear pieces. Here is the link to the build thread for those who haven't seen it: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=519867

Thanks! And, yes...he is. The only issue I had was, when placing the order, I didn't see a place to type in the paint code they listed in the copy. So, I immediately fired off an Email stating the color and code and got a response back within hours that he had received it and that the code was now in the order. Fast service!

I'll go ahead and apologize for the double post now (putting this here and on my build thread). I should have just added this to my original thread and not started a new one for the spoiler itself. But...I decided to go ahead and add it to the build thread to keep it current.

I actually like the fact that it has a little lower profile than the OEM piece appears to have. I was worried that a tall piece might look goofy with the stock bumper. This one is looks like it was made for the car....more aggressive than the M3 lip but not the slapped-on look.

Thanks! It is just the right size for this car. The old M3 spoiler looked OK with the top down, but...was pretty puny looking when the top was up. This one strikes a good balance.
