Track Pads, when to expect them?
Are the brakes used on the M4 used on any other car?
I'm asking this because I'm curious about obtaining proper race compound pads. (Either for the ceramics or for the steel) |

Pagid RSC1 available for the CCB right now. Pagid Yellow RS29 or RS19 should be shortly for the standard brakes.

IMO CCB is quite pricey for only three times a year to the track. I imagine you'd be better served by using that money on track pads for the standard brakes and using the extra for a track wheel/tire setup or whatever you fancy.

If you're a 1 car guy who runs with whatever wheels came on the car like me, CCB is an amazing option. If you're a gear head with 3 broken Miatas in your driveway you'd probably get standard brakes because they seem futuristic in comparison.

Don't knock the Miata! You can have a blast in a Miata race!
Also I tend to find some of the best drivers actually have a Miata stashed somewhere. Back to the PADS.... And the other question of if these brakes are used on any other BMW? (The steel ones) |

1M has the same breaks as e9x m3 and they a smaller ones that f8x has.
Honestly say to go 2-3 times a year on track it is more reliable to go with stand breaks. The CCB are more like style for today and are very expensive. Probably the way to go is to install the breaks from the M5 which are probably the same size like CCB ones. And it will cost us 2-2.5 cheaper plus we can sold our standard breaks for a m135i guys for example. My body will see if we can do that when the Parts Catalog will appear.
