How is a modded N54 a warrantied CPO car? lol
I'd say it's an abused N54 E90 and that would shy me away, but I would pay no more than $20k with taxes and all. Anything over is stupid as these are 6-8 year old cars now.

You mean 4-8 years old. Kinda hard to buy a 2010 335 for 20k.

I'm assuming this is a 2010 for it to still be Certified. If I had to take a stab at a price I'd say in the $26-27,000 range. That's below what a similarly equipped 2010 XDrive would go for out here with roughly the same mileage at any one of the stealerships around here.
It's Cali though so Black 4dr RWD Auto 335's are probably a dime a dozen out there, hence the reason I low balled my estimate.

Anything goes wrong they will look at your mods and at best give you a hard time. I'd stay away from modded cars when buying. You want a car driven by a nice old lady and treated as such.

Modded.. I wouldn't buy it. Also, I got screwed by getting a car with maintenance left on it at 40kish miles. The warranty and maintenance of course commands a higher price but there is a good chance you wont get an oil change or brake pads out of it.
I bought my car with like 42k with warranty and maintenance..Computer said I didn't need an oil change until right after 50k and I had my brakes done at around 58k. So in essence I paid 4k more just to have a warranty for 8k miles. If I did it again I would buy past 50k, get that price drop and then buy a 3rd party warranty just in case. |

Be careful when you sell your or state that its CPO because if you're the 2nd owner the cpo doesn't transfer to the third or something to that effect. Don't quote me on the numbers.
Also, they wont deny warranty work just because your car is modded. i.e. let's say your brake calipers go out and need to be replaced, they are not going to say that because your car is chipped and lowered that they cannot perform the necessary warranty work. Dealers love the warranty work -- but they have to be able to justify the parts replacement i.e. they can't change out your turbos because you feel that something is wrong with acceleration. |
