That's pretty.
Did you use round 3" going through the center "channel" section, or did you use a flattened 3" equivalent in there? Are you going to leave off the mid-channel cross/support or is that going back in? Did you get a chance to weigh your setup? It's amazing how much empty cavity space there is after you remove the mufflers. And I was astonished how heavy that muffler section was! |

3" round from the DPF flange through the center channel section.
I believe the mid-channel cross support was put back in after photos were taken and unfortuantely, I did not get any weights. I agree about the large cavity left after the muffler canister section was removed...pretty ridiculous. My initial thoughts were to have custom molded diesel reserve tanks mounted to fill the voids, but that was more of wishfull dreaming spurred by the recent cannon ball run coast to coast in the AMG. I do like your aerodynamic sheathing...looks similar to the tesla s back underside.. Quote:

Olds, I definitely going to ask to see this in person. Ever hit Katie's Cars and Coffee on the weekends?
Who did you have perform the work? Zury?

I've heard of Katie's on Saturdays, but never been.. The exhaust work was done at Mandrel Bending Solutions in Pasadena, MD.
http://www.mandrelbend.com/ Not many places I could find in MD that did quality work for a decent price...and quite honestly, most wouldn't even touch the car based on unfamiliarity. Old thread but this is now important in light of overboost situation that iaknown is researching. Old sankey, any overboost issues? He used Jarek for his deletes so his situation is fairly close to Iaknown's.
And like the thread asked, did you ever post audio of this straight pipe setup? |

He was a pioneer for this work and as Jarek learned and evolved the tune, it was time for his update. |

[/reviving old thread]
Did we ever get details on those tips? I'm thinking of making some pipes to eliminate the rear cans, but leave the rest of the system intact. Anyone have any audio of a car with straight pipes after the cat? |

I would love an option like this....it looks like there would be no coding, no CEL's, or anything like that, right?
I miss the noise of the BMW performance exhaust on my 135i!
