Sometimes I forget that the internet doesn't translate conversational tones very well, and stuff. I apologize if I came off... I dunno? Less than pleasant? It wasn't meant to be. Sorry!
Your excitement is well placed in this endeavor. I know I'd be giddy all over, and probably wouldn't be able to handle the wait. Just make sure to let whoever you're receiving it from to not drill into the front bumper, haha. Many people forget to specify this and make it clear. Even if you wind up just mounting the plates via drilling, I know that I would want to snap a few pictures of it scar free and pristine. Rad car, and, though I'd spec it differently, I am nonetheless a little envious of you. |

I love to listen to music but I'm by no means an audiophile. I'm wondering now about whether or not to spend the extra money. Anyone else with the HK on a 2 care to comment on this? And gratz TripleV, that's a beautiful ride! Last edited by Scotlac; 03-16-2014 at 10:55 AM.. |

Nice!
Nice build! I just ordered mine as well and it looks like our interior tastes are real close. I went for the Estoril on the outside. Counting down the days.

Do you happen to have a link to that license plate holder you're referring to? Or a part number? That type of thing is the most I'd be interested in doing, since I don't want the front bracket either.

My car arrived at Port Hueneme on the 1st, but didn't get to the VPC until yesterday. I'm hoping it will be released to carrier today... the waiting is killing me.

Were you on Figaro? I was too. Did you contact your SA to figure out if it was in VPC?

Yes, we were both on Figaro. I'm a BMW Client Advisor, so I can see exactly when it reaches the VPC, which was yesterday. Why it took 5 days to get from the dock to VPC I don't know... the ship arrived within a few hours of schedule on the 1st. One of my clients cars, a 428i, has already been released to carrier... it's just a matter of what order the cars are loaded/unloaded I guess.

Make sense, being you're in the bay area. Mine was released to carrier today, we'll see how long it takes to load it and get it up here. It's a 2-day haul once it's on a truck, but Waggoners is having a shortage with one of their trucks broken down.
