Next service is an Oil service in 3,700 miles. This car has been a great car to me and it is with a rather heavy heart I put it up for sale. The car has only seen the best in regards to maintenance and has been extremely reliable. The only problem is when a coil pack failed and it had 6 new genuine coil packs fitted (rather than just change 1). The same applies to the injectors. In regards to maintenance its cost me an arm and a leg but I understand I will never get this money back, but I like to do “anticipation” maintenance also. I have only ever used Castrol Edge Oil and only ever run on Shell V-Power fuel. I have owned the car for a year now, which by my standards is a short ownership but I am itching to get back into an M Car and there is one that I have spotted . Every car has its problems and I am being completely honest here. The only mechanical problem the car has is the typical turbo wastegate rattle that affects all N54 engines. The wastegate rattle is louder on my car because of the catless downpipes. However there is no smoking from the exhaust and the turbo’s hold boost and it pulls perfectly through the gears. Update: - The drivers side seat belt "giver" doesnt grab the seatbelt, again a common fault. The front drivers side wing paint is a bit flat where the previous owner has had it re-painted but not the best job in the world, however it is acceptable IMO...its just me being rather picky. As mentioned above the car is HPI clear. With all the modifications I am asking £12,500 ono. Car is located in Enfield, North London. At the moment I only have pictures from a professional photoshoot I had done, but I can get “normal” pictures if requested. Thank you. Last edited by Dirty Tool; 04-03-2014 at 11:36 AM.. |

Nice car. I'd give my left bollock for a Perfomance Steering wheel.

Great car.
Im just popping in to give it a free bump, and also as a vulture circling for parts. If you decide to split give me a message about the DP's... and maybe steering wheel + intercooler. Good luck |

Thank you for the kind words gents! Im not really pushing the sale at the moment as I'm off to vegas next week...I will see what my financial status is when I come back and take it from there! Not willing to split the car of its mods yet!

If this was auto id buy it today mate. Real shame. Manual is gun but for the amount of "brisk" driving is possible now days auto outweighs it. You though of splitting it for sale. I recon all the mods would go in a few days.

I have thought about splitting it, but would be a shame to do it and i've spent plenty of money and time putting it together to its current level. Would like the potential new owner to experience the car at this level too, even though I could make more money by splitting it. |

Yeah true. Dying breed yes. But I believe its due to auto box's becoming so good its leaving manuals obsolete. Theres a reason most super cars use them. And you cant beat them for a casual cruise around town.
it would be a shame your right but its been up for a long time now. I would put it down to the manual box. If you strip it and lower the price to earn the same back etc. The price may be enough to convince someone to go manual. just a theory though. Lol |

Car looks amazing. I disagree on the manual front. I searched high and low for a manual with the spec I wanted for over a year. Ended up having my head turned by a sparkling graphite auto with coral red

Thank you for the kind words. Just being patient waiting for the right buyer to come along as i'm still not really in a rush to sell...hence why it hasnt been parted out yet.
