I'm really liking these wheels. Lightweight too! What specs are they?

19x9.5 ET40 - 22.6 lbs Hankook V12 in the normal sizes They were quite a bit lighter than the factory 16in wheels that came off. I almost went with BBS CH-R's, but Pyspeed talked me into the V810's and I'm glad they did. The BBS's look outdated in 2014 with the polished lip. I went easy on the offset so once it's lowered I can fine tune it's stance with spacers. You can always add but you can't take away! The car is LCI so honestly we're talking maybe 2-3mm up front and 3-4mm in the rear tops. Pyspeed was amazing on their shipping speed from Cali to Florida. They took my money on 3/5 and I have them on the car 3/12. Last edited by Riick; 03-12-2014 at 09:46 PM.. |

I won't do a shoot until more work is done (springs, CF lip and spoiler, brakes painted), but here's a better daylight pic. They're not like dinner bowls concave but they've got some nice shape to em especially the rear.
I've only owned the car a week and I'm very happy how it's turning out. Springs came in today but It ALMOST doesn't need them, I'm debating about installing them. They will finish the look though. The CF parts should be here next week. Last edited by Riick; 03-13-2014 at 10:31 PM.. |

The gunmetal finish is starting to grow on me a lot more. Still isn't the finish I want on mine but it's definitely the right color choice on black. Can't wait to see how the springs change the stance.

5mm spacers came yesterday also. VMR needs to get with the program on their offset offerings for LCI cars. The V810's in 19x9.5 only come in ET33 or ET40. The car needs around ET35 to fit correctly without that awesome sunk in look without doing any fender mods.

Things like your ride height, alignment, and tire brand/model/size all come into play with how your wheels will fit.

2mm is a very very small difference, in which case you could probably add a bit of positive camber if you really wanted it a little more flush.

H&R springs installed. Still a work in progress (paint calipers, lip, spoiler, some other goodies) but here's an update. No rubbing with ET35 rear.
Easier way to install front springs takes a minute. Drop the lower control arm. No messing with spring compressors like the writeup on here talks about. Super simple and takes literally a few minutes to have it out. |
