Anyone else have a car that is sitting at a port??

My car has apparently been sitting at the NJ port since last Friday.

What's the deal?

Mine is at a southern california port for two days now, no word of shipping company bringing it yet. It's only 5hrs from AZ too, I'm getting anxious.

They have to clear customs before they can leave the port. It isn't just a matter of a truck picking it up. Then they have to go through the VPC before they can go to a dealer.

So how long does that take?

Just getting tired of extending my existing lease...

I just got off the phone with my dealer my car is being released to shipper tomorrow my car docked on 3.10.14 so just about 2 1/2 days for my car. I should have it by Friday.

That's pretty quick. Mine showed up at dock on Feb 25th and the dealer got the car on March 7th. So it was sitting there for a week until it got on a truck.

Too many factors go into that so it can be very quick or a little drawn out depending on how backed up they may be. And of course each port is different. I wouldn't imagine too much longer since it has already been almost a week for you. Next week would be a safe bet.
