Help/advise need: cic controller retrofit problem
Hi guys!
Well my problem is quite simple in fact. I'm trying to retrofit the CiC controller in my car. Everything is working fine BUT I'm facing a problem with the center trim console... I have a poplar wood trim and this version was stopped before the CiC controller to come out on the market... I was planning to cut the trim with a dremel like shown on this post: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...torial-12.html I ordered the same surrounding bezel but it's not large enough to cover the original CCC hole... there are 2 little gaps on both sides... So I'm stuck! I'm wondering if the surrounding bezel of the M3 is available and sold separately? I can't find the part alone on realoem... Can someone please help me by measuring the m3 bezel? Any other idea otherwise? Thanks!! |

the hole is way different... I'm pretty sure you can't fix with that little M3 extra
get a scratched (any trim colour) one off a later car and go vinyl wrap of something you like... might be better to try something that contrasts well... unless someone did a matching set up *(I doubt that) even the brushed aluminium lots had, is really replaced by a slightly different brushed steel effect one... |
