Arete Auto Salon in Rochester, NY / Clean Car Pics

Hey Guys,

I haven't uploaded any pics in a while on here so I figured I'd share these ones. I have some friends that own a shop in Rochester, NY called Roc-Euro and Arete Auto Salon works in partnership with Roc-Euro. Long story short, I went to college in Rochester for 5 years and got to know those great guys but now I reside in NJ. I'll say it from the start, yes I know the people but no I do not work there and if anyone thinks my review might be biased you can check out the shop and their results for yourself.

Arete offers a wide variety of exterior and interior services from a simple wash and wax to paint protection and anything in between. I believe they even work with a local shop to offer tinting as well but you'd have to check with them to make sure. They even have top of the line Coating including Cquartz finest and Opti products.

This winter has been pretty brutal with some cars in terms of potholes and weather and it's definitely been bad this year in New Jersey. I went up to Rochester for a weekend so I figured I'd get a good wash and wax done at Arete before the long drive back so the snow can just slide right off the wax. A few months before I had a full detail done with them and the car looked incredible. All the scratches and bruises my car had taken were all gone. The car had some pretty bad water spots from the previous owner as well and they were all gone!

Anyways, this is the result of a quick wash and wax they did with my car (It was pretty dirty from the drive up). Spotless!! They also used Aquapel on all the windows and windshields which works wonders. It honestly looked like a new car and you can really see the Monaco Blue shine now.

If you guys are anywhere near Rochester, I highly recommend Arete Auto Salon for all your detailing needs and I also highly recommend Roc-Euro for any work you need done to your car. I've taken my previous B6 A4 there to get work done for years and I've had some work done with the E90 there as well.

Thanks guys. The color definitely blew me away as well since this was the first time I had it fully detailed since I bought it.

Lol I bet it is but I wasn't on it much. I was/am a part of Rocdubs so I just chilled with those guys. I graduated from rit in '12.

It has been a little bit more than a month now and the wax is still running strong as well as the aquapel applied to the glass. Drove back home last night through Central NJ in a random crazy snow/rain storm and I hardly had to use my wipers. I love it

It is great. I've had it about 8 months or so now and it holds up very well. You can definitely hear the car sucking in air now and a little woosh sound. I'm going to buy another set of filters soon from them to put on while I clean these ones.
