Just noticed you have had some issues today trying to recognize this part, i can send you as many pics as you want in the AM if you like. I will pull my engine cover and get you the info you need.

Bah you guys suck LOL..
I'm not referring to the wire by the way I'm referring to the whole entire plastic pipe-!I think it's an oil PVC valve, but can't seem to find anything on get BMW parts |

Yes that is the PCV valve. The hose is going from the valve cover to the intake to the rear turbo.

You're a lifesaver JB- thank you so much!
So does it look correctly installed? I removed my oil catch can yesterday, because all that seemed to be inside it was gas and water vapor. I didn't see any oil to speak of, and at this point I am pretty certain the N55 engine doesn't really need this sort of thing, so I put it back to stock. |
