JB4 issues with saving settings?

I have a JB4 G5 ISO, and its not saving the settings that I select on menu controls 40mph-100mph. Ex I'll select boost on fuel and that will save fine (20mph) but then i'll enable stealth hi-jacking and it won't save. It will work only during that key cycle, if I re-enter back into the control menu it defaults back, if i shut the car off it defaults back. Same with the corvette gauge sweep option. If I re-enter the menu its gone, if i shut the car down its gone. Is this an issue with the firmware? Am I an idiot? Thanks

It's definitely not the firmware, but could be that you don't have the latest Interface Software download. A few of the menus selections are mutli functional. When you select are you "backing out" of the setting properly. That is, are you moving to the to the next or previous menu item correctly?

Sounds like it's working normal to me. Certain menus default to 0 regardless of what settings are saved. If you are looking for menu 4 to jump up to 1 because you enabled "stealth mode" last time around it won't. It will always jump to 0 regardless of the stealth mode setting.

Thanks Mike

Jury's verdict, I'm an idiot. I drove it down the road and the boost gauge was activated from stealth mode. I'm just paranoid, first time modding a bmw coming from the mustang world.

Hey mike,
I am suffering from the same issue on my 08 335i e90. When i try to activate stealth hijacking, it will never show boost even if full throttle. Any idea why that could be?

If the stealth mode is activated, which gauge would be hijacked?

You need to add boost to one of the gauges. Stealth mode won't do anything if nothing is set to display on the gauges. Select 2/1 to enable boost on fuel gauge. It will display boost (0-20psi) when the pedal is depressed more than 50%.

+1

Stealth mode only tells the JB4 to activate the gauges at >50% throttle. You still need to config the gauges as you want.
