Technically no 10,000k would not be a legal color. I know in the USA there are DOT Laws describing what colors / kelvin / CCT Ratings are legal and its actually pretty restrictive .

Since 10,000K will give you a deep blue/purple output, I'd advise against it. Why? The Highway Traffic Act explicitly forbids "blue" lights on the front of any vehicle except for police vehicles.

From the HTA:
Quote:
Red and blue lights to the front restricted
(14.1) In addition to the lighting requirements in this Part, a police department vehicle may carry lamps that cast red and blue lights, but no other motor vehicle shall carry any lamp that casts red and blue lights to the front. 2007, c. 13, s. 17 (2).

Ok, it doesn't say ONLY blue, but why chance it and argue with a cop?

My cousin got pulled over for having 8,000K halos in Mississauga and those are slightly less blue than 10,000K. Stick with 6,000K at the most for the best output/looks.

the higher in kelvin you go will equate to lower visibility output.

I don't think he is worried about visibility output with his angel eyes.

What kind of headlights do you have, are they halogen or xenon? There might be an LED solution to give you the blue look you are going for

Read the original post - this person isnt asking about brightness or visibility if they are used as headlights. He is only asking about the angel eyes
