2014 or 2015

I have owned many vehicles including a few BMW's. I currently drive a 2009 128i (commuting to work). I plan on ordering an M235 and here is my question.

Given that we are probably halfway through the 2014 ordering year and that we may be able to order the 2015's in July or so, I wonder if I should wait and order a 2015. My real issue is that in Canada to get Comfort Access and the HC Stereo, we need to order the Premium and Executive Packages for $7000 (and I really don't want Nav or the Sunroof). On the 228's, the Executive Package gets all of this plus Adaptive Headlights for only $2200. I wonder if the option packages could change for 2015.

They might just jack up the price of the car overall since the CDN has plunged since the fall vs most currencies including EURO. Then again maybe not.

I think the M235i..is going to go deep into the year...BMW is already starting to raise prices on some model lines..and if the demand is strong..i expect a price rise...by the way I ordered mine after the first assembly mass run.....you never know until the run really mass produce and fine any kinks..

I forget where I read it (some link on here to another BMW forum) that indicated there would rolling changes to the 2 series in July of this year. I don't think it will be a 2015 yet, just a mid year production change. Among the changes I read were a new steering wheel (not sure if it will be on 228i or M235i) and also the Oyster interior color option will be switching to Oyster/Black 2-tone (YEAH!). If that comes to pass it will be Estoril Blue with Oyster/Black interior for me!

think the steering wheel on the 228i...the wheel on the m235i...is fantastic
the two tone seat sound nice..expect MORE COST...still going with my coral red..
