Good BMW Shop in Bay Area?
I've been out of the car scene for a while. Been looking around for a good Euro-tuning shop for some basic installs (Shocks/Springs). Most of the places I've called have been very sketchy, ranging from $250-$600 to install. I am just looking for a decent shop...otherwise I'll rent a lift and do it myself. Anyone able to suggest a place?
I'm currently in San Francisco. Thanks. |

What kind of setup do you want to install? Some brands may take a little longer than some others. Let us know. Thanks! |

Edit:May be Koni FSD shock/struts instead...not that it really matters. Apparently they're just sold out---everywhere. Last edited by ndq; 02-27-2014 at 11:27 AM.. |

Performance Technic in Pleasanton gets good marks on Yelp.
They do street and race prep and run their own cars. They also recently sponsored a track day. Haven't used them yet am but planning to do so soon. Check out their site and Yelp reviews here: http://performancetechnic.com/ http://www.yelp.com/biz/performance-technic-pleasanton

If you don't want to travel too far, try Faxon Garage which is near SF City College. Theyve worked on both my old IS-F, E93 M3, and my GF's current 335i. Each time has been great. If you don't mind driving, I've always been a fan of SonicMS. They work on a ton of high end cars.
