Are you talking about emissions inspections?

I just passed emissions testing (via OBD2) here in MD the other day. No issues on Cobb Stage 1 Aggressive.

Yep..I wasn't sure it it would F**k up the tune or not.

I knew if i uninstalled it would have to wait a few days before going to do the test.

I have heard of ppl passing with it , but i was not 100% sure.

I only have heard of ppl failing if they have dps without a dp fix.

cool . I was only worried that the emission would mess with the tune itself.

Manually clearing codes, resetting the DME/ECU, or uninstalling the Cobb just before the OBD II check could all lead to the OBD II check failing. Otherwise, on Stage 1 Maps, you should have no issues... unless, as others have stated, you have DPs and don't have a DP fix!

I do not believe you can run a COBB Catless Map, even with a DP Fix, because the COBB tune will be cancel out the o2/catless CEL code, preventing o2 readiness from being achieved.

I'm not following here. Does this mean I can't run COBB with a catless DP or there is no tune for the catless DP from COBB?

New to the N5x tuning and I am still figuring this stuff out as well as mapping out my move

The Cobb stage 2 map is made for cars with downpipes.

The COBB Stage 2 and 2+ Maps are for cars with catless DPs, so these maps intentionally block out the "fault code" for catless exhaust emissions (catless DPs without a tune would trip a CEL). BUT because it's blocking out the o2/catless code, you do not get an emissions "readiness" (which is necessary to pass an emissions scan).

What you'll have to do is put on the Stock/Stage 1 or Uninstall the COBB tune with a DP fix, which will not interfere with the o2/catless code and after a little driving will give you emissions readiness. As long as the DP fix is dialed in correctly, you'll be fine.

If the DP fix is set correctly, you should have no problems
