Thank you for posting
- How many hours did you track the car ? - Did you change the V2 torque settings ? I know the limp mode when changing to lower octane gas. It occured with v1.x as well. - Eugen |

Leftcoastman... Do you have an upgraded oil cooler? Where did you get it? Cost? Have you changed the type of oil you run? Do you have an FMIC?
Great report! You think you could hang with the new M3 with this setup?

The steptronics that were driven by advanced guys were getting limp'a'dimp almost instantaneously from the coolant temps. They were reporting 285 or so oil temps, so it must have been coolant that caused them to have 5 minute run sessions. I'd be so pissed. I think given a similar driver, on race rubber, I'd lay waste to the new M3. If he's on race rubber too, I wouldn't be so sure. If he's good, I'm dead because I ain't exactly Schumaker. But it comes down to the driver. As the 800+hp Viper proved, straightline speed doesn't make up for lack of driver skill in the corners. |

Yowzas! 85ambient and you're blasting the heat? Something is wrong there, lol. But yeah, good thing you blasted the heat. The AUTO limps because of coolant temps, not oil temps. My buddies limped while showing 285 on the oil gauge. No warning of coolant overheat till ya get the lovely DING of limp mode.
I haven't decided if the H&R is good or bad. It helps the rear stay flat but causes serious serious wheelspin. FAR more than stock. Maybe a 15-16mm would be ok, but the 20mm is too much. An LSD may solve wheelspin but then you will likely power oversteer at the drop of a hat. Most drivers, myself included, probably shouldn't be on that edge. |

If I get the LSD, I'll probably remove the H&R. Anyone wanna buy a thick rear sway? Makes for good street drivin' ! |
